Meet the Team

Barbara Edmonds, the founding partner of Edmonds & Edmonds LLP, started her tax and accounting career with Price Waterhouse.  After becoming a Tax Manager at Price Waterhouse she and another CPA started a firm in Los Angeles, Dreyer, Edmonds & Robbins, An Accountancy Corporation.  After 30 years with the firm, she founded her own firm in Newport Beach with her son Eric Edmonds, also a CPA.  

Edmonds & Edmonds LLP is a public accounting firm specializing in sophisticated areas of tax compliance and tax planning, business management, an accounting.  Clients include various small business and nonprofit clients, high net worth and high income individuals and families. Focus on overall tax planning and tax advice with extensive experience with law firms and individual attorneys/partners.

Eric Edmonds started his career in tax and accounting while he was still a student at University of Southern California.  He started working for Dreyer, Edmonds & Robbins during tax season of his sophomore year and decided it was the right career path for him.  After passing the CPA exam and working at Dreyer Edmonds for almost a decade, he and his mother and mentor, Barbara, decided to start their own firm in Newport Beach.  Eric now manages and advises clients on a wide range of tax issues including formation, operation, tax planning and compliance for partnerships, S-Corps, trusts, private foundations and individuals.  Eric specializes in partnership taxation, high net worth tax preparation and planning, real estate partnership operation and taxation, and business management and check writing.  Eric’s clients include start-ups, law firms, investment professionals, investment partnerships, S-corporations and complex individuals.

Mark earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Loyola Marymount.  After college, Mark began his career with the Pasadena based accounting firm, Martin Werbelow, LLP as a staff accountant while preparing for the CPA exam. While at the firm, Mark gained extensive experience servicing and maintaining a wide range of clientele which includes Individual, Fiduciary, Partnership, Corporate, as well as Non-Profit tax planning and preparation.  Mark passed the CPA exam in October 2012 just after accepting a position at Dreyer, Edmonds & Robbins in Los Angeles.  At Dreyer Edmonds, Mark focused on tax planning, tax preparation, and business management services for high net worth individuals and families.

Mark has developed a broad range of experience in all areas of taxation and financial reporting for corporations, partnerships, trusts and individuals, including domestic and international matters.  Mark became a partner at Edmonds & Edmonds on January 1st, 2018.

Sarai Passero has been the Office Manager for Edmonds & Edmonds LLP since the beginning of 2018. Sarai is the household payroll coordinator and assists the CPA’s in the office. Prior to joining Edmonds & Edmonds, Sarai was in various administrative fields including, Human Resources, Commercial Property Management, Law Offices, etc. Sarai is bilingual (English/Spanish).
